Since July 2014, Emilio serves as the Spanish Ministries Director of Pacific Church Network (PCN), an association of over 70 churches in Southern California. Prior to becoming a Director he served on the PCN board. Pastor Emilio A. Núñez M. is very active in Christian ministry in Southern California.  Since 1984, he has been the pastor of the Spanish-speaking congregation at Bell Gardens Baptist Church.  He was an Associate Professor at Biola University until 2012, and is currently an adjunct professor of Historical Theology at Fuller Seminary.    Emilio was a contributing editor to La Biblia de Estudio de la Biblia de las Américas, a study Bible in Spanish published by the Lockman Foundation in May of 2000, and now published by Broadman and Holman.  He contributed a chapter in Vivir y Servir en Exilio (Living and Serving in Exile) published in 2008 by the Los Angeles chapter of the Fraternidad Teológica Latinoamericana (FTL).  He is the administrator of Pacific Church Network's  Seminario de las Américas (Seminary of the Américas).   Born in Guatemala, Emillio moved to Dallas where his father completed a ThM and ThD at Dallas Theological Semiarry. Emilio and his wife, Dunia, have been married since their wedding at the historic Open Door church in 1979.  They have two married adult sons.
